Terry Lee Derrick has been a singer, songwriter and performer for practically all of his life, mostly in Los Angeles and Dallas. After moving to Nashville nine years ago he gave up singing and writing for a few years; then his interest in writing in other veins was peaked.

In 2004 he wrote a play that he is still planning to do some collaboration on before bringing it to the stage and he has been working on a book since spring of 2005 about the deep issues and resulting behaviors in gay men. Terry has been in various forms of recovery and therapy for over 15 years and hopes to bring, through his work, help and insight to others. He is also planning on taking to the stage again in 2006 performing standards and jazz.

Terry has had his own business for over seven years here in Nashville.
